Play Date

I LOVE play dates with Kendall...for obvious reasons-like, she's my best friend and I enjoy her company, and our kids love each other...but there is another reason. It always turns into a spontaneous photo shoot. Her camera is always close by and she seems to always capture the sweetest moments with my kids. I end up with a fun filled day AND the most precious pictures of my babies. What more could you ask for from a play date?

Best Buds

We got to hang out with our best buds, the Brunsons last night. We had such a great time, and were even able to talk and catch up. We have not had our 2 families together (including the dads) since November, so we were due for some good hang out time. Kendall took out her camera later in the evening and took a few pictures...She blogged about it today, so I thought I would put a link to her blog so you can see the pics...She is such a fun photographer! ALL my kids are sound asleep right now, still tired from last night...love it!

Chuck E Cheese

***Warning-Lots of pictures! :)

Showing off their tickets
Grier carried this flat basketball everywhere
Me and all my girls.
One of her many faces
Gracen wanted to "ride" this horse, by putting her token in and standing next to it, holding on to the reins. Can we say...cautious!
Dancing to "I like to Move it, Move it"
I LOVE this picture. Aiden and Ainsley are two peas in a pod...they are gettin' down.
Sweet Friends
Who's having more fun here?
Super Mom!! Kendall's playin a little ball, while she's got Addie in a sling! Go girl!

Well, this year instead of a big birthday party like last year, we decided just to take our best friends to Chuck E Cheese. We're only gonna do a big birthday party every other year. Every year just seems like too much. The kids didn't even care. They were looking forward to this day for a long time. Kendall and her girls met up with us last week on Blake's day off. It was a Wednesday, which equals peace and quiet at Chuck E Cheese. I LOVE going there during the week. Our kids love each other and always have such a great time together. It was a really fun day. Sorry about all the pictures...there were so many cute ones, I couldn't decide between all my favorites. Aren't Ainsley and Aiden funny dancing, and shaking their booties?! I mean, who taught these kids how to dance? There dads no doubt... :) Blake caught a great moment there.

A Little Braggin' Never Hurt

Little Elijah-3 months
Okay, so my BFF Kendall, is a budding photographer. She's the one who did my prego pics. She is really an amazing photographer. Anyways, she had told me that her cousin was hiring her to take her son's 3 month pics. And I just saw them for the first time on her blog, and snatched them to show you how incredible she is!! Don't be mad KC. :) She's way too humble to advertise herself yet, but I think she is totally ready to be hired out. So I'm taking it upon myself to put a link to her blog, so you can see the pics she takes of her girls...and so you can contact her about taking pic of your precious kids. Seriously don't be mad KC. :) Anyways, I just had to brag on her because I am so impressed with her artistic eye. Isn't she awesome?? I'm so proud of you KC!

Blog Banner Props

I just wanted to give a shout out to my BFF, Kendall who is seriously one of the most talented people that I know. She created the new banner on my blog and broke into my account and did a little makeover. How fun is that?! She has an amazing eye...and I'm so glad that I'm a recipient of her talent.

Dress Up!

She is Super Duper Excited to be a princess...Can you tell?
Dressing up with Good Friends
This is a precious picture to me...my kids and my best friends kids. As you can see Gracen was not giving in to dress up peer pressure.
I'll save the day, my Princess! At least that's what I think he's thinking.
Wahoo! She's dressing up!

So my kids have finally discovered Dress Up. It has been long time coming. For whatever reason, Gracen has resisted this. She is so girly, but the thought of putting shiny, sparkly clothes on freaks her out. It's kinda strange...I know. And I wasn't really expecting Aiden to be into it. But we had some friends over right before Christmas, and the 6 year old boy dressed up in some of Aiden's costumes, and now he thinks it's pretty cool. Gracen has slowly come along, as she sees Aiden transform into a super hero. I have had fun watching this process. The kids really do take on this new identity. If only clothes had that effect on me!
